Se trata de un sitio muy especial, casi idílico diría yo... Allí siempre hay algo que hacer, todo es casi único. Para los meses de noviembre a febrero, tenemos el Mar Menor para bañarnos y en los meses de marzo a octubre, nos bañamos en el Mar Mediterraneo.
En el Mediterraneo o Mar Mayor como allí lo llaman, las playas son naturales, apenas tienen gente y si lo prefieres, puedes bañarte en pequeños lagos de agua salada que están detrás de la playa, con vegetación.
Para llegar a estas playas, el camino atraviesa Las Salinas y sólo ves agua alrededor, en tonos rosas cuando le da el sol, por la alta concentración de sal. Y está todo lleno de flamencos haciendo juego con el tono rosado de sus plumas.
Podría estar escribiendo mucho más pero bueno... para terminar, decir que en un lado de las salinas, entre el Mar Menor y el Mar Mayor, hay unos baños de lodo medicinales, donde además se flota de lujo. Te extiendes el barro por el cuerpo y cuando se seca, lo retiras. Te queda la piel toda suave y limpia de impurezas, además de aliviar dolores musculares.
Ah! Me olvidaba de las dos islas que hay en medio del Mar Menor, Isla del Barrón e Isla Perdiguera. Se llega con el barco o moto de agua y una vez ahí, sí que estás en el paraíso... islas desiertas para perderte y disfrutar.
Bueno, me "olvido" algunas cosas más pero no quiero hacer este post kilométrico :)
Today I'd like to talk about a very special place for me, San Pedro del Pinatar, with 360 sunny days a year. For the first day I spent there, four years ago, I became in love with that place of that coastal region of Murcia. And we decides to buy a house there.
It's a very special place, I would say... almost idilic. There ir always something to do, everything is unique. For the months from November to February, we have the Minor Sea for bathing and in the months from March to September, we use to go to the Mediterranean Sea.
In that sea, the beaches are natural beaches, there is a few people and if you prefer, you can swim in natural salted lakes, behind the beach, with vegetation.
To reach those beaches, you have to drive thougth "Las Salinas", a place to extract the salt. When the sun shines strongly, the water seems pink, with the pink feathers of the flamingos, it's so beautiful.
Between the Mediterranean and the Minor Sea, there are medicinal mud baths.
Ah! I forgot talking about the two islands in the middle of the Minor Sea. You have to reach there by boat and when you arrive... you feel like in the paradise. Desert islands to loose yourself and enjoy.
